Here I am in Texas!
Went home to the Lone Star State for Jon Sheppard's wedding - had a great time and saw lots of great old friends. I even caught the bouquet - yikes! We all had a super good time and I can't wait to go back.
Me and the boys, all dressed up. Don't we look pretty?
Playing "3 man". Isnt that what every groom does the night before the wedding??
Me and my little sister, Kristin - who DOES exist!

Here I am clowning in LA!
To supplement my partygoing lifestyle, I am "clowning" on the weekends. I love it and it is a fun way to make a some extra cash. Just about every weekend has a funny clowning story to go with it, so I will update "Tales of a Clown" as often as I can. The first weekend I worked, I was sent to a birthday party in a not so good area in LA. I was walking down the street and got harrassed by a car full of gangsta looking guys. It's kinda hard to stick up for yourself or be anything from humiliated in situations like those. In this particular instance, I was pretty nervous and just put one foot in front of the other thinking "Don't get shot in a clown outfit, just don't get shot." I can just see the headline "Clown Down" and the article: 'The body of a clown was discovered by little birthday boy, Johnny, 8. 'I don't really like clowns anyway...it just came with the moon bouncer. I am glad that moon bouncer didn't get shot. That would be a real tragedy!" '
This weekend I was in a less rough neighborhood. I told all the kids I had to go home to the circus, but one little girl didn't quite fall for it. She pulled me aside later and said "I'm not gonna tell anyone, but I think you live in a real house...I saw your shoes." An imposter! Exposed by the shoes...oh well. What's a clown to do?

Here I am in San Diego!
I visited GK, Kerry and Avery in San Diego this past weekend for some pre-Halloween fun. We carved pumkins, watched scary movies, watched HD football, went for a surf and played in Mission Bay. We had a great time, Avery sure is hilarious! Thanks for the great weekend guys!

Here I am on the internet!

Day one of this new undertaking...Lets see how long it lasts.
I guess I will just start with the bare bones: who I am and why I have rented out a tiny corner of the internet. I am Dana, living in Hermosa Beach and loving every minute of my charmed life. I thought I would start a blog because well, everyone's doing it and I thought it would be a good way to share my life with family and friends without spamming their email with pictures and running up costly phone bills...Also, friends and family can check in on me at their leisure - once a week, once a month and for the diehard - daily. I doubt I will be updating that often, sorry diehards. But, keep checking back to see where I am and what I am up to... Happy blogging!
